Untrue by =NoodleDoodler carries a most interesting concept which could almost ask if the skies were falling down. In a strange way the grain of the picture adds to the realism. Working with water is risky business, but the artist pulls it off quite well. (Suggested by `conorschild and Featured by `WilderWein77)

has some amazing water brushes that are pre-selected out from there backgrounds that need very little tweaking. Thought they might be helpful to you in this or other waterfall projects. Really nice, it lookes damn nice

"Untrue" is a prime example of what can be achieved through photo manipulation. It shows an original idea which is demonstrated through flawless execution. No lines or other imperfections of the water (which is an extremely hard subject matter to work with because of its extremely asymmetrical forms, shapes and reflections) can be spotted in the image minus a small impact conflict on the first waterfall on the right. This makes the image seem more like a photograph of an event so unlikely to happen.
The work also shows off excellent use of stock photographs. Since all of the stock resources are cited at the bottom of the artists description, one can see what kind of thoughts go through an image manipulators mind when choosing their stock. It shows how images of everyday objects of normal day-to-day situations can be used to create a work that comes directly from the innermost thoughts of an artist.
Personally, this work also showed me something interesting. While =NoodleDoodler was creating the work, she showed me several "WIPs" (work in progress) of it. This showed me how much effort and dedication must have gone into the image, because of the visible transformations that were present after each and every step.
From an emotional point of view "Untrue" is a powerful piece that has a lot of meaning to it. I personally interpret the piece as a sort of emotional cleansing of the city. A dark alleyway is being cried upon by the buildings that surround it to be washed clean of the dubious actions that happen on it every day. Of course =NoodleDoodler has her own sentiments for the picture which are probably completely different from mine. Nevertheless it shows that the artist has created something which really means something to her and that serves as a medium of expression and channel for her feelings.
In conclusion, I have to say that "Untrue" by =NoodleDoodler truly deserved the Daily Deviation that it got, not only because of the final product that is visible to each and every person on the internet, but also because of the work that was behind it, which I luckily got to witness.
